Its Friday and that means Legendary Kingdoms Adventures. What is Legendary Kingdoms Adventures (LKA)? Legendary Adventures is the online gamebook set in the Legendary Kingdoms universe.

Stretch Goals and Backer Kit Update

SInce the end of the campaign we have been busy implementing the stretch goals and getting ready for the Backer Kit launch.
Legendary Kingdoms Adventures is now live of Facebook
This new online gamebook has just gone live on our LK facebook group page. The first post is an introduction to the concept as well as the first poll; to chose the character you will begin your adventure with.
If you are on facebook and want to play LK weekly then please do head over to the LK private group and place your vote. Membership is free and we would love to see you there (if you are not already), and if you know someone who may well enjoy participating, then please do send them a link to the group.
Backer Kit and the PDF of Book 1
Kickstarter are still collating data and collecting payments so we are not ready to launch yet, but behind the scenes the Backer Kit page is all but ready and LK Book 1 - The Valley of Bones, is going through a final edit. As soon as Kickstarter confirm to us that they have captured everyone's payments and sent us your details, we will be emailing you a code for you to grab a free PDF copy of Book 1 from our online store. This email will be sent to all backers who pledged for both book copies of either the softback or collectors editions.
Our experience with our past campaigns shows Kickstarter sending over the details between 2-3 weeks of the campaign ending. The campaign ended Thursday 15th April, so we expect to hear from them sometime between April 29th and May 6th. If there is any change to this we will let you know.

To each and every backer, thank you for making this campaign successful and a lot of fun. We are thrilled that so many people enjoyed exploring the Valley of Bones and we cannot wait to get your brave adventurers over to the County of Longport Bay.
What Happens Next?
The next step is the processing of payments which is handled entirely by Kickstarter. They will begin to charge cards and if there is a problem, they will reach out to you using the same email address that you registered your Kickstarter account with. This process usually takes a few weeks and when they are done, Kickstarter will send us the all important backer details that we can feed into our pledge manager. If you have any payment issues please contact kickstarter at [email protected] and they will be happy to help.
Backer Kit
Once we have received the information from Kickstarter we will send you a Backer Kit survey. In the survey you will be asked to confirm your pledge, given an opportunity add on extra copies if you wish, give us your postal address and settle the postage. The survey will stay open and available for you to edit for several months and will be closed when we are ready to begin fulfillment.
This update section of the Kickstarter page will be where we will make most of our announcements and post up any progress reports, so do be sure to check back regularly so you don't miss out.
Legendary Kingdoms Adventures
In the next week we will begin the live adventure on our Legendary Kingdoms facebook private group. The adventure will begin with you being asked to chose your first adventurer for the party, from the recognised six original characters from The Valley of Bones.
It is planned that the other characters that will form the party will be brand new and created as the adventure unfolds.
We will post a more detail explanation of how this adventure will work on the opening post. It is planned to have a post a week where you will face a decision to make on behalf of the adventurer or party and a post a week developing a new character. There will then be an archive of previous posts so no one misses out and people can join us as the adventure progresses.
This is a complete experiment and the length of the adventure will entirely depend on how many people are enjoying it and are joining in. We are really looking forward to beginning this and we do hope you are able to join us on this adventure.

Last Few Hours, Last Few Stretch Goals

What an amazing journey it has been and thanks to each and every one of you for joining us.
Stretch Goals Success
Having reached the quite unbelievable £180k (well over $250k!!) we are delighted to unlock the page place ribbons for the Collectors Edition as well as an upgrade for the character sheet.
Whilst we can leave to your imagination the amazingness that is the page place ribbon, we are delighted to show off the character sheet makeover. There will be a full black and white version to download as well as the colour version. We will be including a professionally printed colour version in the Collectors Edition pack.

Backer Kit
A couple of weeks after the end of the campaign we will be sending everyone an invitation to Backer Kit, where we will be running our post campaign pledge management from. This survey will check your pledge, allow you to add on further copies of books (should you wish to buy some for friends), split the postage and also to give us your address and pay for postage. We will issue more detail as to how this works for any newcomers, when the Backer kit is opened.
One add on that will be completely new will be the Legendary Kingdoms book 1 and 2 Colouring (Coloring) Book. A full celebration of Robin's art in these 80 page full colouring books for those peaceful times when you do manage to grab a few minutes to yourself. Each page is separately printed so you can even remove your favourites to show off and frame.
