How is the shipping cost handled?
We will charge for shipping after the end of the campaign. Two to three weeks after the end of the Kickstarter campaign you will be sent a survey by our pledge management partner Backer Kit. In the survey you will be asked if you are happy with the pledge, to confirm the amount you have spent and to pay postage depending on your address.

When will I get charged?
There are two charges associate with this Kickstarter campaign, one at the end of the campaign and the second when you complete your pledge manager survey. Kickstarter campaigns work on an all or nothing basis. Even if you back us on day 2 of the campaign, you will give Kickstarter your payment details but they will not charge your card until day 30, and only if the campaign has reached its target (or gone over it). You will then make a second payment when you complete the Backer Kit survey and settle your postage. The Backer Kit survey will be sent out 2-3 weeks after the completion of the Kickstarter campaign but will remain open for several months whilst the book is in production, so you do not need to pay the postage straight away and can wait another month or so before settling that amount.

What is Backer Kit?
For anyone not familiar with how Kickstarter (or any crowdfunding) works, Backer Kit are the company that deal with the pledge management. As soon as a campaign has ended, assuming it has been successful and reached its funding, there will be a need to collect addresses from backers as well as postage costs. This will be done by an email from Backer Kit which is usually sent out 2 – 3 weeks after the end of the campaign. As well as collecting your address details and postage there will be an option to upgrade and purchase a selection of other Spidermind items, should you wish.

Are there any PDF only pledges available?
Every physical purchase of a Legendary Kingdoms book will come with a free pdf. However, PDF only purchases won’t be available during the Kickstarter campaign but the ability to order a pdf only, will be released after fulfilment of the Kickstarter campaign has been completed. The reason for this decision is because the Kickstarter Campaign is to raise funds for the printing of the physical book. As we have made pdf’s of book 1 available for purchase through our webstore, we will be doing the same for book 2 but only after the end of the campaign. For backers, we will release the pdf of book 1 at the end of the campaign and the pdf for book 2 as soon as it is ready.

What is the recommended age for these books?
The Legendary Kingdoms books are written for adults as they contain mature themes, however children from 14 years and onwards should be perfectly suited to the topics and language used. The subjects covered in the book are contained within the Citizenship area of study in UK schools, covering personal, social and emotional development. There are no graphic scenes of a sexual nature nor any inappropriate language, but Crown & Tower does set a moral dilemma for one of the characters which covers the topic of pro choice vs pro life. The book makes no stand in either camp and leaves the decision in the hands of the player but if this topic is likely to cause distress then we strongly advise you not to involve yourself in this campaign.

Measurements of the Collector's Edition
The pages will be the same size as the standard edition as they are designed to sit open on a level surface. The covers will be thicker card with embossed cloth as the over. The overall measurements will be 21cms / 25cms / 1.8cms and weigh around 900 grams. It is possible this may update as the design of this book nears completion but these are a rough guide.

European Shipping
We are looking at using our fulfilment partners Dutch warehouse to distribute to Europe. The printer is in the EU and so there will be no import tax. As books don’t have VAT on them, there should be no extra charges on top of your purchase.

Why Facebook?
We understand that Facebook may not be everyone’s cup of tea and we are sorry if you miss out because of it. Our choice to use facebook for the private group and then the stretch goal is because we need a platform from which to post and carry out polls. Facebook provides us with a simple interface through which we can interact with our community and one which would make this task much harder without. If you are not on facebook and do not wish to join then there will still be regular updates on the KS page where you can also post comments and contact us directly, should you need to.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
